The X-Life mod adds a crucial item to help you on your journey.

Extra Life​

The Extra Life is a consumable item that serves as the primary method for regaining lost lives.

Usage​

To use the Extra Life, hold it in your hand and right-click, just like you would with an Eye of Ender. This will consume the item and launch a heart particle effect that travels a short distance before activating.

Effects​

When the Extra Life's effect activates, one of two things will happen:

  • If you have 9 or fewer lives: You will successfully regain one life. Your maximum health will increase by 2 points (one heart), and your heart color will update accordingly.
  • If you have 10 lives (the maximum): The effect will fail, and an Extra Life item will be dropped on the ground for you to pick up again. You cannot exceed the 10-life limit.

This makes the Extra Life a valuable and reusable resource once a player has reached the maximum number of lives.
