Upgrading Your Robot

A basic robot is useful, but an upgraded robot is a powerhouse. This guide covers how to enhance your robot's capabilities.

Upgrading the Battery

The battery is the most fundamental upgrade. A larger battery means your robot can work for longer periods before needing to recharge, drastically increasing its efficiency.

  1. Craft a Small Battery: This is your starting point.
  2. Upgrade to Medium Battery: Combine a Small Battery with gold and redstone blocks.
  3. Upgrade to Large Battery: Combine a Medium Battery with diamonds and redstone blocks.

To install a new battery, simply open the robot's GUI and replace the battery in the battery slot with the new one. You can charge the old battery at a Robot Station.

Installing Modules

Modules provide specific stat boosts or new abilities. Each robot has two module slots.

info

To craft any module, you first need a Module Base.

Example: Creating a High-Speed Miner

Let's create a robot specialized for fast mining.

  1. Craft a Mining Speed Module: This increases the robot's block-breaking speed. Combine a Module Base, a Diamond Pickaxe, and two Redstone Blocks.
  2. Craft a Battery Efficiency Module: This reduces the energy cost of all actions, allowing the robot to mine for longer. Combine a Module Base, an Advanced Microchip, and two Redstone Blocks.
  3. Install the Modules: Open the robot's GUI and place the Mining Speed Module and Battery Efficiency Module into the two available module slots.

Your robot is now significantly faster at mining and uses less power while doing so!

Combining Upgrades

You can mix and match modules to create a robot for any purpose:

  • A Combat Robot: Use an Attack Damage Module and a Durability Module.
  • A Fast Explorer: Use a Speed Boost Module and a Solar Panel Module to keep it charged while it follows you.
  • An Ultimate Woodcutter: Use a Mining Speed Module (affects axes too) and a Reforestation Module for a fully autonomous tree farm.

Experiment with different combinations to find the best setup for your needs!
