The Robot Station is a crucial block for maintaining your robotic workforce. It serves as a charging point where robots can automatically return to replenish their energy.

Functionality​

  • Automatic Charging: When a robot's energy level drops below a configurable threshold, it will automatically search for the nearest Robot Station and move on top of it to recharge.
  • Item Charging: You can also charge Battery items by dropping them as an item entity on top of the Robot Station.
  • Charge Rate: The rate of charging can be adjusted in the irobot-common.yml configuration file (robot_station.charge_rate_per_tick).
