Quick Start Guide

Ready to start farming? Follow these simple steps to build your first farm.

Step 1: Craft a Lasso​

The Lasso is the core tool of the mod. It allows you to capture living entities.

Step 2: Capture a Mob​

Find the mob you want to farm (e.g., a Cow, Chicken, or Zombie).

  1. Hold the Lasso in your main hand.
  2. Right-Click the mob.
  3. The mob will disappear, and your Lasso will now be enchanted and display the name of the captured mob.
Hostility

By default, the Wooden and Stone farms cannot process hostile mobs (Zombies, Skeletons, etc.). You will need at least an Iron Farm for those.

Step 3: Craft a Farm​

Start with the Wooden Mob Farm.

Step 4: Activate the Farm​

  1. Place the Mob Farm block down.
  2. Right-Click the farm to open the GUI.
  3. Place your Lasso (with mob) into the left slot.
  4. If the Lasso is compatible with the farm tier, the progress bar will start moving.

Step 5: Collect Loot​

Every time the progress bar fills up, loot is generated.

  • Manual: Open the GUI to take items out.
  • Automatic: Place a Chest or Hopper directly underneath the farm. The farm automatically ejects items downwards.
