The Lasso
The Lasso is a magical item used to capture entities for processing inside a Mob Farm.
Crafting Recipe
Usage
Capturing
Right-click any living entity with an empty Lasso to capture it. The entity's current health and attributes are saved into the Lasso.
Releasing
Right-click on a block while holding a full Lasso to release the mob back into the world.
Durability
The Lasso is not infinite. Every time a Mob Farm generates a drop, the Lasso takes durability damage.
- Base Durability: 256
- Breaking: If the durability reaches 0, the Lasso breaks, and you lose the captured mob.
tip
Different tiers of Mob Farms have different chances to damage the Lasso. Higher-tier farms are gentler on your Lassos!
Enchantments
You can enchant a Lasso using an Anvil or Enchanting Table:
- Unbreaking: Significantly increases the lifespan of the Lasso.
- Looting: Increases the amount of loot generated by the farm.
- Note: This must be enabled in the configuration file to work.
Restrictions
Some mobs are too powerful to be captured. By default, the following mobs are blacklisted:
- Ender Dragon
- Wither
- Warden
(This list can be modified in the tinymobfarm_common.yml config file).
